Complete Earnings and Employer Costs for Every County Employee for the years 2010 and 2009 The County Auditor-Controller Robert Geis, C.P.A. with the support of the County Board of Supervisors and County Executive Office has released this comprehensive searchable database of salaries and total employer costs for every position in Santa Barbara County government. The County believes that it is important for public accountability to provide a comprehensive view of the salary costs of delivering services to the public. There are a number of public websites that have posted the County data for 2009. However, those sites do not provide the comprehensive data that is available here. The salaries listed reflect the total costs by employee including base pay, cash benefits and other payments for special earnings codes, vacation buyouts and other allowances. Significant employer costs for retirement, social security (FICA) and employee health insurance are also available. Use the links below to start your search.
